For Bascom Maple, a ninth-generation maple producer, 500 kW rooftop solar supports long-term energy cost stability, helps offset the significant energy demands of syrup production and storage, and improves return on investment through available incentives. In April 2023, Norwich Solar completed the project in Acworth, NH, interconnecting more than 1,200 panels to the New Hampshire Electric Cooperative grid.

Norwich Solar focuses on supporting businesses and manufacturers that have high energy needs. We can install rooftop or ground mounted solar at the scale of 500 kW AC or more. A 500 kW array will generate over 700,000 kilowatt hours per year. That’s enough energy to power about 100 homes per year, and reduce your carbon footprint by over 500 metric tons of CO2 per year!
A PPA is a long-term contract between an electricity generator (the solar farm) and a buyer (a utility, business, or government). The developer designs, builds, and owns an energy system (like a solar array). In return, the customer (offtaker) purchases the generated power at a fixed, predictable rate. The project can be located on the property the offtaker owns, or anywhere within the same power grid.
We help businesses strengthen project economics by identifying rebates, incentives, and financing opportunities that improve long-term value. Our goal is to create a solution that supports both operational and financial performance.
Yes. Along with development and construction capabilities, we bring the long-term support needed to help protect the success of your renewable energy investment over time.
