What it means for us to be B Corp
Recognizing that our stakeholders and partners are prioritizing a broader concept of business success, we started on the rigorous path towards B Corp Certification a few years ago. In April of 2023, Norwich Technologies and all of our business units – including Norwich Solar, Norwich EV and RunTime Solar – proudly joined the ranks of purpose-led businesses that meet high verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
B Corp Impact Areas of social and environmental responsibility criteria reflect our company’s values, and we are integrating them into the fabric of our organization, so the principles are acted upon in what we do every day.
OUR COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY
In addition to the direct positive impact of our renewable energy projects, Norwich Solar supports many local organizations and nonprofits. Norwich Solar supports local job creation, increased energy independence, and reduced pollution while following socially responsible business practices.
We select these opportunities based on the following criteria:
- Promotes the adoption of renewable energy
- Addresses climate change
- Fosters growth of the clean energy industry
- To limited extents, supports a local nonprofit that is important to an employee

Clean Energy NH builds relationships among people and organizations using a fact-based approach that offers objective, balanced, and practical insights for transforming the Granite State’s clean energy economy and sustaining its citizens’ way of life. They work with policymakers, businesses, municipal staff, and individuals to promote, educate, and advocate for clean energy and energy efficiency policies.

As New Hampshire’s only comprehensive, full-service children’s hospital, the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD) provides an extended system of care that offers advanced pediatric services. CHaD is recognized by the Children’s Hospital Association as a “children’s hospital within a hospital”.
PUBLIC RADIO
Norwich Solar is a firm believer in the importance of independent local media and in-depth coverage of legislation and public policy in crucial issues of energy, as well as health care, the economy, the environment, and education in our region. That’s why we enthusiastically support Vermont Public and NHPR as corporate sponsors.
