Development Project Manager
Description
Norwich Solar seeks an experienced renewable energy/construction Development Project Manager to manage specific elements of renewable energy project developments. Candidates that are versatile, analytical, entrepreneurial, and team oriented are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Manage multiple renewable energy installation project tasks and schedules of developments (negotiate land leases, draft permit applications with state and local agencies; manage and direct engineering and environmental subcontractors cross multiple states in the northeastern US
- Actively and creatively seek solutions to development challenges
- Communicate status and priorities to internal and external parties
- Ensure accuracy of company submittals and other documentation
- Proactively prepare and manage permitting documentation from submittal through acquisition
- Participate in assessing new business opportunities and leads
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders in development forecasts
Competencies and Qualifications
- +5 years experience in renewable energy/construction project development operations
and logistics - Technical writing for permit preparation and regulatory responses
- 3+ years experience utilizing CRM or enterprise software like Netsuite
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of regional interconnection requirements, opportunities and issues
- Knowledge of regional permitting regulations
- Experience with financial and business operations analysis
- Ability to successfully multitask and work well under pressure

EPC Project Manager
Description: Our rapidly growing company seeks an individual with strong organizational and project management skills to assist in the installation of solar projects. The position will play a critical role in ensuring the company successfully delivers our strong pipeline within Northern New England region. This full time position includes a robust benefit package offering health care, vacation and retirement savings opportunities.
Job Summary: Manages construction aspects of projects for the organization.
Job Duties: Work collaboratively on all aspects of the project lifecycle: planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. Coordinates the work activities for multiple functions to ensure satisfying delivery.
Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management. Assists with the selection, negotiation, and managing of all activities regarding external consultants or vendors.
Leads and monitors the construction process, and ensures that projects are completed on time, on budget and according to specifications. Uses engineering and technical knowledge to ensure that components, systems, and equipment meet specifications of the project. Generally responsible to oversee a safe working environment by coordinating vendors and scheduling of construction activities. Provides regular (both written and verbal) communication to senior management on progress and conflicts, provides daily and final inspection of construction sites.
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to read blueprints and verify work is performed to specifications.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.
- Bachelor of Science degree, PMP Certification or relevant experience in renewable industry.
- Ability to identify and independently manage critical tasks.
- Ability to balance priorities and adjust to deliver the best outcomes and diminish risk.

IT Manager
Norwich Technologies is seeking a skilled and dynamic IT Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining all company IT infrastructure, including managing and optimizing our organization’s NetSuite platform to support business operations and objectives, as well as other software platforms including Google Suite and Microsoft Office. You will oversee the configuration, customization, and maintenance of NetSuite modules, ensuring smooth functionality and alignment with business processes. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, implement solutions, and provide ongoing support and training to users.
This is a full-time position and will report to VP Business Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
- Provide immediate response for computer related issues.
- Create and execute a cyber security plan and ensure the safety of company data.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using Google Suite and NetSuite effectively
- Train select staff to be super users of all ERP and other productivity software
- Configure and customize NetSuite modules to meet business needs, including but not limited to: Financials, CRM, Inventory Management, and Order Management.
- Maintain and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new functionalities, including working with external Netsuite partners for software updates and changes.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and workflows to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Manage user access, security settings, and permissions within NetSuite.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and training purposes.
- Lead or participate in system upgrades, integrations, and other projects as required.
- Engage with all stakeholders to optimize productivity tools, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of previous experience as a NetSuite Administrator or similar role, with in-depth knowledge of NetSuite functionality and modules, required.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, business processes, and accounting principles.
- Strong understanding of Renewables Industry, preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- NetSuite Administrator or Developer certification is a plus.

Controller
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled Controller with extensive experience using NetSuite to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Controller will oversee the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This senior role is critical to our financial health, providing strategic insights and leadership in financial planning, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of NetSuite and proven experience in a similar role. This is a remote first role, with preference to attend quarterly meetings in White River Junction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and analysis
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Lead and coordinate the annual review and tax engagements, liaise with external CPA firm, and assess any changes necessary
- Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Maintain both tax and GAAP based books
- Assist in the continuous improvement of our NetSuite application
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
- Mix of public accounting and private industry accounting experience
- Proven working experience as a Controller or in a similar role
- Strong experience with NetSuite is required, including creating customized reports and saved searches
- Thorough knowledge of both GAAP and tax accounting principles and procedures, including consolidations and eliminations.
- Experience with creating financial statements
- Experience with partnership accounting and tax filings
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills:
- CPA or CMA certification
- Experience in solar or related industry preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Manager of Safety and Quality Assurance
Job Summary: The detail-oriented Quality Assurance and Safety Inspector is responsible for overseeing that ground mount solar projects are built to Norwich’s and the owner’s standards. The role plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the construction and installation of solar energy systems.
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance:- Conduct comprehensive inspections at various stages of ground mount solar projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to guarantee the reliability and longevity of solar installations.
- Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols and guidelines for ground mount solar projects, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with project managers to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality and safety inspections, noting any deviations from standards.
- Completed OSHA 300/ 300A logs for RunTime Solar, Norwich Solar, Norwich EV, and Norwich Technologies.
- Generate comprehensive reports summarizing inspection findings, recommendations, and corrective actions taken.
- Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on quality and safety performance.
- Conduct training sessions for on-site personnel regarding quality control processes and safety procedures.
- Stay informed about the latest industry developments and safety regulations to provide relevant training and guidance.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, or quality deviations to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions based on thorough analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement in quality and safety practices.
- Implement measures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field; Licensed Electrician credential may be substituted for education minimums; relevant certifications in quality assurance and safety are a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical installation, quality assurance and safety inspection within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on solar projects.
- In-depth knowledge of solar project construction processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards, including NEC and OSHA regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey quality and safety requirements to diverse teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using inspection tools, equipment, and software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Overnight travel is required as part of this position.
- Strong commitment to promoting a culture of safety and quality within the organization.
Compensation:
- Salary range is mid-career professional, negotiable based on experience.
- Position is considered full time exempt, eligible for participation in annual profit sharing.
