The list ranks applicants according to their influence in the U.S. solar industry for the 2023 year of operations.** **For the sixth year in a row, Solar Power World has listed Norwich Solar as one of the Top Solar Contractors in the country.** The company’s nationwide rank is #189 out of 392. When compared to other developers serving the commercial market, that places the company in the top half of comparable companies nationwide. The company is ranked 2nd for total kilowatt capacity installed in Northern New England (VT, NH, ME). The ranking is based solely on self-reported total kilowatts installed by each company. Norwich Solar reported installing 7,237 kW in 2023. The company has installed approximately 52,000 kW since it was founded in 2011.  At the time of the evaluation, Norwich Solar had completed 13 projects in Vermont and New Hampshire in 2023, including five 500 kW AC projects in Vermont, one 1.5 MW small business community solar project in Newport, NH, and 500 kW rooftop array for Bascom Maple in Acworth, NH. These projects provide local farms and businesses that subscribe to the arrays with virtual net metering helping them save money with solar at no cost to them.   Currently, the company has numerous projects in various stages of construction and development for 2024 and beyond that will further their mission to advance the integration and deployment of affordable solar power. The annual list of Top Solar Contractors evaluates hundreds of solar contractors and developers in the United States and includes solar PV companies that provide a range of services in the industry including: sales, EPC contracting, development, construction/installation, electrical subcontractor work and/or rooftop-specific installations.
