Education is one of the three main drivers behind Norwich Solar Technology’s mission, along with environmental impact and financial savings.
The Mountain School of Milton Academy energy systems are improving nearly every year. Their 2015 investment in a 124KW solar array from Norwich Solar means that they will be getting 85% of their electricity use from the bright sun that pours over their farm.
In the summer of 2015, The Mountain School also invested in new energy monitoring technology, allowing them to visualize their energy use on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. They use this dashboard with their students, making school energy use a more regular part of the conversation.
